Reserve a space in CED buildings
Answer
To reserve a space, go to https://calendar.ced.uga.edu/
Select the category/building you want and a date/time. Classrooms default to four hour bookings, pin-up spaces to a day. The system doesn't allow users to do recurring bookings, but you can add multiple bookings. Other than the conference room in 112 JSB everything should automatically confirm.
Need to edit or delete your reservation? Once you reserve a space, your reservation appears below the time blocks. Use the trash can icon if you need to delete the reservation. If you need to edit the time, click the pull-down menu next to your time and edit in 15-minute increments. See detailed instructions below for screenshots.
Note: Denmark 103 and 110, Tanner 307, and Jackson Street 123 and 125 are reserved through the UGA Classroom scheduling system.
Detailed Instructions
1. Go to https://calendar.ced.uga.edu/
2. Select one of the space types to open the reservation calendar. Note that once the calendar opens, you can choose other buildings and space types using the Location and Category drop-down menus. If you're not sure of the room or space number, go to this FAQ.
3. Use the arrows to move to the date range you need. Note that you may need to use the scroll slider below the calendar to see the full range.
4. Click on an available (green) time block to book the space. The space is blocked off (in orange) for a default amount of time. Note that classrooms default to four hour bookings, pin-up spaces to a day. The system doesn't allow users to do recurring bookings, but you can add multiple bookings.
5. To reduce the amount of time booked, click next to your booking (below the calendar) and select the new end time for the reservation. To remove the reservation, click the trash can.
6. Once done, click Submit.
7. Enter the information requested and click Submit my Booking. Other than 112 JSB (Dean's Conference Room) everything should automatically book. You'll receive an email confirming the reservation. Requests for 112 JSB will be reviewed prior to confirmation so there are no conflicts.
