Why cannot I access the Chrome Web Store/Scholar Profiles?
When I try to access my UGA Google account profile on Google Scholar or download LibKey Nomad for Google it doesn't allow me and brings me to the webpage attached here. I can download LibKey Nomad on other platforms, but preferably Google Chrome would be used. Especially for Google Scholar I would prefer to keep all university research in one Google profile and not my personal account. Can I be granted access to use Google for these or, if not, what are suggested ways to go about this? Thank you.

Google services aren't something that CED's IT team manages, but a quick Google search of 'uga.edu Google Scholar' returned this link to the UGA LIbraries' guide for Google Scholar.
Also returned in the Google search was EITS' Google Workspace at UGA knowledge base article outlining what Google Workspace licenses have been secured by the University System of Georgia.
- If you see the message: "We are sorry, but you do not have access to (Google application). Please contact your Organization Administrator for access.”
- This means the application is not enabled for UGA’s Google Workspace environment.
- What you can do:
- Use the application with a personal Gmail account.
- Google Scholar Profiles are not supported within UGA’s Google Workspace environment.
- Recommended approach: Use a personal @gmail.com account to manage your Google Scholar profile so you retain access if you leave UGA.

- Log into your personal @gmail.com account
- Go to: https://scholar.google.com/citations?view_op=new_profile&hl=en
- Complete the profile form
- Enter your UGA email address for verification
- Click the verification link sent to your @uga.edu email
